I bet for that price it's a SADI core, and not a billet.

Most likely. Ed C. has SADI cores for 325$. That's what I would do if I was on a budget...Comp cams cost 300$ and are SADI too.

Not an option but I'll throw them out there. Bennett Racing did my custom solid roller for my old 410, over the off shelf solid roller (which was bigger) I picked up a 110 hp to the tire. They know their stuff

Can you post specs of your off the shelf solid roller and the custom they did? Because 110 to the tire seems like a LOT to gain. Sounds like the original solid roller was intended for a 289 or something...

I cast my vote for Ed as had a very good experience all around with him. What I was looking for he delivered and some. I have also heard nothing but good things about cam motion also. Just dont know if jay is still doing stuff. Maybe someone will chime in on that one. One piece of the pie I wouldnt skimp on is the cam, it can make or break your combo.

Well I think the fact I'm EFI and not carb was the biggest issue. My current cam is as follows... Lift .696 intake and .696 exhaust Duration @.050 267 I and 278 E Seperation is 110.0 My old cam was just over .700 but a bunch more duration, I'm not sure it match my powderband right. I only shift her a 7200, nothing too crazy.

A bunch more duration? That's why it didn't make power...fucking thing wanted to Rev to 8.5K and you shift at 7200. I still cant see a 110hp jump...that's a lot.

I apoligize, I was looking at my old dyno graphs, it was a 107 hp to be exact and 25 ftlbs but I also changed the intake manifold. Went from the Edelbrock Victor EFI intake to a Super Victor converted over to fuel injection with a 90 degree elbow. That did help also. Made 557hp and 475tq to the rear tires on atmosphere alone back in 2005 lol
