347 solid roller cam build up
Hey how it going
This is my first post on this site.I need a little help picking a solid roller cam.This motor is going in my weekend warrior car that see's the drag strip often. Here's the combo I have so far. 347 forged short block 205 afr heads 10.5:1 compression ratio edelbrock victor intake and 70mm tb 1.6 roller rockers Long tube headers THank's for any help you can give me Dan :award |

My boss 302 enigine has a comp soild lifter cam in it they make good cams and im happy with it

check out comp cams xfi 's they are made for strokers

Thanks for the welcome. I was looking that the comp xfi stroker cams but I think a solid roller is a better match for the afr 205 heads.

I was thinking about a custon grind but I was hoping to use an off the self cam.So I could save some time and money.In the end if the off the self cam falls short of my expectations,I'll spend the money and time to get a custom grind.

I completely understand. But you would be surprised how much HP is found with a custom cam.

Call Cam Motion and have them do a custom grind. Why spend all the money on good heads and everything else and then take a gamble with an off the shelf cam? Seems kind of foolish to me. My last cam from Cam Motion cost me about $275 delivered to my door and I had it within 7 days of placing the order.

that engine will have issues on the street....is it going to be a carb or FI?
cam innovators might be a choice for ya
