Same combination I have but...
I don't know my specific rims backspacing but I would research some specific dimensions first. I have 17x9 with a 245 on the front and the tires rub the struts and the rim hits the a arms at 3/4 lock on both of my foxes (one lowered and one not) and I had to roll my fenders to get the 275 to not rub in the back which a lot of people have to do but my point is if I had a different backspacing to make the front work, that same spacing would make the rears rub even worse. I'll never do a 9 inch in the front again, anything less than a 245 doesn't look right on the rim and is too small and besides the rubbing, it seems to track and catch every slight imperfection in the road.

A 225/45 looks good on a 15x8. I have no idea how that looks on a fox though, probably a little to small, it looks good on a Miata
. Maybe a 225/50 instead?I had a 235/45 on a 17x9 and thought it was too small, actually that is it on the front of the red car in my sig. Just my opinion though as I'd rather have 16 in rims.

On a 15x8 inch wheel, a 225/55 or 225/60 will look about flush with the rim..
My cousin uses 225/45 on his 17x8 '98 cobras.

Oh okay, i just dont want the wheel to be wider then the tire....you know how the low riders cars are ...lol, its going to be a while before i get new wheels, but i was debating on 15x 8 in the rear and 15x7 in the front, id like to just order the same size wheel all the way around but if a 225 wide tire is goin to look dumb on a 8 inch wheel then ill step down to 7 inch, but only on the fronts, id like to see pics if any one has any on both combos.

If you're gonna go with a 15x8, Id run a 245 up front. I'm guessing you're going with a Drag Radial for the rear right?

MM&FF put a 265/35/18 in the front of a 93 cobra.
And had no issues. 245 is also what I run in the front, no issues. If you really wanna get all 15x8, thats what I would do. I'm actually gonna get some race stars 17x4.5 front, and 15x8 rear cobra brakes lol. They look nice as hell tho

just so u know there's 2 types of eibach springs for the mustangs, the lowering springs and the drag springs. the drag springs does not lower the car at all.

Fox bodies should only be allowed to run big and littles in my opinion...
