need help with legendary idle issues!!

Alright so 1st off its a totally stock 91 GT auto. Has 123k miles. It was driving perfect then I stopped at a stop light longer than usual and rpms suddenly dropped. Almost like it is on the verge of dying. It does this when I start up and when I stop and idle for to long. I have had problems with the iac and I already replaced that. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

OK well I just changed tps. Problem still there. It takes it about a minute to actually drop rpms

Already did. That's the 1st thing I checked for. It happens about 1 min after stopped. I'm totally stumped. Also I cleaned the MAF. still no change. I need ideas.

Clogged cats? I'm bad at diagnosing stalling issues.

Good place to start.

Mustang idle surge and base idle reset

If you just put the new tps on and didn't calibrate it I would check that first.

Just did a tune up about 500 miles ago. And calibrate the Tps? I set it at .98 volts.

You could try replacing your ECT and ACT sensors.

Yes. Its on the metal tubing its right by injector number 4 I believe. Its right on top. Took me 10 min to fix. Also make sure you check all vacuum line thoroughly. Spray starter fluid all over engine. Compartment ment. One place at a time. Have to cleaned IAC AND MAF?

No but I have an aftermarket CAI and it's relatively new with the MAF so I figure it's my ECT because it only does it on cold mornings.

Now it's throwing a check engine light...could this be from tightening the bolt to tight/frayed wires?what do you guys think?
