Foxbody Meth Injection..

Thinking about running meth injection in my 90 Gt when I boost it.. Just wondering if anyone has any pictures of their setup, or someone they know's set up, to just get some ideas. Thanks.

I use the AEM kit with medium size nozzles before and after the compressor. My tank is mounted below the drivers headlight and the pump is mounted on the canister bracket on the opposite side.

How do you like it? Any problems, or things you would change if you did it over?

I love it. I would not change a thing with it. Local speed shop sells it for $2.75 a gallon. I mix it 50% with water. Never had any issues.

Do you run it all the time in your car? How long would you say a gallon lasts you?

If you mix it 50/50, couldnt you just buy windshield wiper fluid, isnt that a 50/50 mix ?

I know for the windshield wiper fluid, its usually between 32-45%, but I hear you can run it.. You just have to make sure that it doesnt have Glycol?SP? in its mixture.

When my car is running the system is on. Its run by a boost activated progressive controller. You can set when the meth starts and how much you spray.

A gallon will last me an evening cruise. Its going to depend on your set up and how often you jump on it. I always carry an extra gallon with me.

I'm definitely going to go meth injection now, thanks for the info.

I would imagine you could somehow wire the water/meth injection to a toggle switch along with the appropriate air/fuel and timing map to the same toggle switch and just flip the switch when you want to run the meth and get the extra power? I'm thinking that way if you're out of meth you can still drive around.

As most know the meth cools the intake charge which allows you to run more timing safely. The cooler intake charge with more timing = more power.

I use quarterhorse, there is a timing map that is based from air charge temp. The higher my air charge temp goes the more it will retard the timing. I don't have to worry about running out of meth, my tune will adjust accordingly.

I also run 93 octane. My controller is set to start the injecting at 5 psi and to be at 100% flow at 10psi.
