rack and pinion


Hey guys im just about to change my power steering rack for my 1990 mustang gt and i had a couple questions. Is ther any tips you guys could give me that would help or anything i should pay close attention to so i dont have to do it twice?

Im working on my power steering pressure hose right now... I havent messed with the rack but did you happen to get the pressure hose back on??? I took off my old one but i can't get the new one back on.... Hope you finished your work without any problems....

easy solution. Delete power steering and run a Flaming river rack lol

I just installed one. I had the motor out and didn't have to deal with any thing in my way really and it still seemed tight getting under the K member. All I say is make sure you install the new little nylon seals they give you for the hoses or else it will leak. Try marking the old tie rod ends so you know where the new ones should go when you re-install so your alignment will be as close as possible. Good luck.
