Help with my 88 Notch
Its pretty much stock besides the GT40 upper and lower, BBK cold air intake and BBK headers. I want to go with the 170cc Twisted Wedge heads and the Trick Flow Stage 1 cam. Any comments or suggestions? What else would I need for this install parts wise? Thanks guys

Ideally, you should get these parts: New timing chain, new lifters, head gaskets, intake gaskets and you're going to need valvetrain as well.
Those heads require stud mount rockers, unless they're an older version with the pedestal mount. You will need rocker arms, pushrods (have to check for the length once everything is together) and you should get springs to match your cam even though the springs on the TFS170s are sufficient for the TFS 1. If you're going to do a cam you should honestly get a better one...The Trick Flow stage 1 is played out and isn't ideal for those heads. Look into the Anderson N-41 camshaft. It's ~120$ more but it's very worth it. Wouldn't you like an additional 15-25hp for just 120$?

Also need antifreeze, two sets of oil change materials (10 quarts of whatever you use & two oil filters) and assembly lube for the camshaft...In case you didn't know.

I see your from california....if you 88 mustang is not a california car and you dont have mass air, then this would be the time to convert it, cuz the new cam could make the car run like crap if its speed density. California is the only place that mass air came stock in 88 every other states had speed density on there 88
