1986 Mustang GT - Projected value

Ok - Looking down the road, what would you say the value of a stock 1986 GT Hatch 5.0 5 spd is going to be? I'm talking 15 or so years. Its hard to belive this car is 25 years old already! Time flies. I see some around - not alot. Alot are race cars or unfortunatly wrecked shortly after they were purchased. I'm banking on this becoming a true muscle car.. either way, I love it - the look - the sound. Just curious what you think.

The only extra value id put into it would be because its the last year of the 4 eye other then that the motor wasnt even that great that year. As far as i know

They gor a pretty penny now. In 15 years if it's stock with low miles and it's CLEAN I can see someone selling that for at least 10,000..

Is it a t-top? Im not sure if they had those that year but I would love a 4 eyed 5.0 with t-tops.

They had t tops that year. And i believe the last year of t tops was 88

Its a hatch, with a sunroof. I cant see it decreasing..

Mileage and originality are key. They are selling for well over 10k now if they are super clean and low mileage cars. Cars that have been modified or have high mileage are worth significantly less than original examples. The gap will continue to widen with time but a clean 86 gt should continue to bring a decent amount.

Value will only go up, how much is questionable but clean foxes of any year can bring 4-6 thousand now 8-12k for prestine ones so it very well could bring double digits in another decade
