Bad ENGINE COOLANT TEMP PIGGYTAIL

If I have a bad ECT PIGGYTAIL, will my car get extremely hot? I popped the hood and put my hand on the fan shroud and burned my hand.

So now your having problems with over heating? Seems to me you got yourself in a mess with this. But it could be sending a bad single telling the EEC that its still not at running temperature causing it to overheat.

That's my thought.a non responsive ECT can do all kinds of weird things to te way your car runs.UPS needs to be faster.
