Nope, the 4.6 modular bellhousing has a different bolt pattern than the old pushrod 5.0's.

now wait a minute.. is it a v8 or a v6. if it is a v6 then it is a t5. also im pretty sure none of the t5's in 04 were borge warner anyhow. i believe at that time they were tremec's

but if it is a v6 car it will have a t5 and you will ither have to use a 94-95 bellhousing or swap out the input shaft to a fox one. also you will not have a speedometer cause in 04 they had a magnetic pickup insted of the machanical.

Yes you did... i like the idea of not having to change input shafts and clutches..ect.....

Id never even heard of them until you mentioned it. What power are they rated at ? If i do choose this route it will be a while before i can do it, but i like to have my ducks in a row, before i buy big items

i have a 3550 im gonna be building and selling in the near future. but i think i only have the 26 spline input for it. i may have a 10 spline as well im not sure.

but ither way you need a different bell housing.

also im going to build mine with the updated carbon fiber lined syncros so it will shift like a t5.

the one im doing i would say should handle close to 500 hp the weak link will be the output shaft cause its the same splne as a t5.

good to know...ill keep you in mind for all my tranny needs, as long as we can agree on prices....

.i just saw one on craigs list with bell housing and shifter for 1100, not sure if thats the normal going rate or if thats cheap. Regardless i wont be buying it but i still like to keep my eye out for them, and cheak prices...

Im always willing to plunk down a few more dollars for a better product, but at the same time dont want to break the bank or have to make a million and one modds to make it work.

You can use a bellhousing from a mustang that used the SROD granny or get an SFI one for more money. The local tuner around here puts down 540rwhp and goes 10.40s reliably. Hes been driving his car for 250,000+ miles lol.

Sean- how much more are the carbon line synchros? I wanna ask my granny guy to put some In, I just dont know how much they are.

All the new T5 rebuild kits from Astro Performacne come with the carbon partcle blocker rings now. I would assume the Tremec stuff does also.
