shifter jam nuts?

shifter jam nuts?


can some one clear this up are they supposed to be touching? mine are backed all the way out and shifter raddles like crazy. may be a bushing idk any experience on these things?

Put it in 2nd and put the stop just off the shifter (use a business card as a spacer. Then put it in 3rd, and do the same for that one.

Its intent is to stop overshifting, but you need it to fully engage the gear and obviously not rattle on the stop when in gear.

trans is out but same rule applys correct
