MAF Conversion


I'm building up my motor and putting 30lbs injectors, now for the maf conversion what do i need besides the Mass airflow meter/sensor?

You need the harness, computer, and the tubes for the MAF meter. Might as well get a nice cold air intake or maybe a power pipe.

i dont need to swap the whole harness right? just add that harness from late model restoration?

Yup. Read the instruction thoroughly, and it'll take you about 30-45min to do it.

Mustang Mass Air Conversion StangNet

I used this. It worked well.
You may need to get some EEC4 computer pins if you follow this link.
I hear without doing all these steps, you'll have check engine codes, but I can't verify that.

when i do build the motor what will it run good if i keep speed density or is this a must have conversion?

acually speed density is the way to go you just have to have it tuned by a pro so no it is not a must have but alot of people do it to save money on a tune and they put a hot driveway tune on it
