I looked into doing that kit (same eBay seller in fact!) and then ultimately decided to go with a Maximum Motorsports setup. Too many folks told me that a Sports Box would make the car handle far, far better and would be priced similarly. Holy guacamole were they right!
I still have the Panhard Bar to install, but everything else is in and I couldn't be happier. It's a great kit, and I highly recommend getting the adjustable lower control arms with it. I had sub-frame connectors already so my parts shop replaced those with the A-LCA's (for a nominal fee, of course). I sometimes wish it were a pinch more firm, but every time I take a freeway on-ramp or the like I am AMAZED at how well the car is absolutely screwed to the planet. And it is comfy as as be driving around town. Perfect. It all depends on what you want the kit for, but handling wise, you cannot go wrong with MM. Trust me. Good luck sir in whatever path you choose! FYI, I got this kit: 1990-93 Mustang hardtop Sport Box [SB-2] : Maximum Motorsports, the Latemodel Mustang Performance Suspension Leader!

I want the adjustable height. I want to lower it, but not too much or too litte. Plus these sound like they should have excelent handling over stock.

You don't really need the bump steer kit. You will need something other than the stock shock mounts for the front. If you try to run coil overs w the stock mounts, you'll end up pushing the idolaters through the mount plates.
I am running a max Motorsport c/o kit w their cc plates. Love it. I am running 275 lb springs in the front and their road and track springs in the back. They are a bit firm but the car handles its nuts off and I'm not finished yet. I still need upper control arms (found a nice set that bmr makes), pan-hard bar, battle boxes and welded unibody seams. What you need to do is to peep a cat named jazzer on here and pick his brain. |

Well sir, if that's what you want then that is what you shall have.
CC plates should do you just fine. According to MM, which I tend to believe, bumpsteer kits are needed only at a certain point and a lot of what you hear is fallacy. As long as the tie rod and the lower a arm move with - and are parallel to one another (to a certain extent) - then you should be fine. If you intend on dumping it, then yes, get the bumpsteer kit. I wish you luck and don't forget to post pics when it is installed!
