Why do you want to remove it ?

I think if you take a torx screw driver and drill a hole in the middle of it, it should work, but again i dont know why you would want to remove it

That not how you clean it.

You need maff cleaner, you spray it in side of the housing.

Theres a senser that inside, and you just spray it out a few times, and let it dry

This what your trying to clean, the inside of your maff may look a little different, i just pulled a picture from some random site.

Use maff cleaner not carb cleaner, and dont touch the sensor with any thing, there fragile

I removed mine to clean it, you don't have to but it you have full access to it. I have some cheap 100 piece security bit set from Harbor Freight for like $7 years ago. Enough different types of bits to work on most "security" screws

Damn, that's cheap. I was in a pinch when I needed one and bought my set from NAPA. Wasn't so cheap! I wish there was a harbor freight near me.

They are called tamper proof torx bits. Sears sells them. Even Harbor Freight may have them as nolife said.

I got my security hole torx set for $7 at Lowes btw they're nice to have. The ignition siwtch is also a security hole torx as well so its not a bad idea to pick a set up.
