Tire size


I have a 91 Mustang LX and I was wondering whats the widest I can go with tires before I have to modify my car to fit them.

Ive got a 275/50/15 et street on a 15 by 10 wheel under mine does not rub i did taped on the inide fender with a fender tool (hammer) a little just to be safe its close but it fits with no rubbing.

you don't need a 10" rim for those tires an 8" will work great and give you a better contact patch

yes..what will happen with that 10" and that small 50 won't have FULL comtact unless you add tire pressure which isn't what you need with a drag radial..it's as bad as have a rim that's not wide enough...

im gettin a set of 17x9 Cobra R's. Can I fit a 285/40/17 with out rubbing, Im not apposed to rolling my fenders if I need to. I have a 93LX thats lowered about 1-1.5in
