Dash light blues
so my dash illumination lights havent worked since i bought the car...all the other dummy lights work...i tooke out the dash today and the bulbs were replaced.....i checked the fuses and the dimmer switch..working fine...what the heck an i missing here?

circut tester time!!! It sucks finding a short or a break in a wire. I'd check before and after the switch for a starting point.

Dimmer will be your best bet. It is closest to the dash lights circuit-wise. Should be a brown wire, don't quote me on that because that is also the parking light wire color.

so i checked the dimmer switch with an ohmmeter and its good...plus the dimmer works for everything else as well so im still lost...

follow the wires from the bulbs backwards, and test power

^ yep. you are going to have to "process of elimination" it now and thats where you start. Thats strange that the lilghts dim on your heat controls and such but nothing from new bulbs in the cluster. May also be a bad ground going into the cluster lighting circuit. If you have power right at the bulb, then check for ground at the bulb.
