GT 40 heads intake on a 95 Gt 302

Can i switch over my current stock heads and intake for a Gt 40 or Gt 40p heads? Will I need to change injectors or fuel pump? Also what aftermarket company makes an elbow set up for the GT40 intake if anyone does. Will my BBK headers still work and how bad is the spark plug and wire change.
Any help would be appreciated

You can swap over the heads and intake and be fine with 19 lb injectors

Im not sure about the header question

I think trick flow and bbk make the elbow, but im not positive on that

It seems to be different for everyone with the header deal...Most people, from what I've seen, use BBK longtubes and they work fine with them. You just need different spark plug boots.

I know there are a couple people who make the elbow just wanted to be sure it would match up to the intake. I have BBK shorty headers but i know they make a spacer for your headers to give you some space for the plugs just trying to figure out if this small modification under 1,000 would give me anything for the money, ive read around 30-50HP anyone do this without changing a cam or is it best to do it all at once and if so what would be a decent cam to add to this but the car would still idle decent

If you want a decent idle, go custom. That way you will get an idle you want and still get performance out of it.

If you swap just the intake and heads, you will probably gain about 50hp. The stock cam is pretty decent if you retard it a few degrees and add 1.7 rocker arms.

If i did this would i run a 65 or 70 Mm throttle body? Also instead of the Gt 40 intake is there another one i could use with the GT 40 heads and stock cam and injectors that would give me the same 50HP gain

^^ I have an explorer intake that I bought that was painted, cleaned and ported and I got it for 250$ off of Ebay. I also use a 70mm throttle body.

I guess the only question i might have now is will the elbow from a BBK or Performance product fit on a GT 40 intake so my EGR will work? Also whats the difference between GT40 and GT40P heads will they both still fit?

GT40 heads are off of a Ford Lightning F150 or a 93 Cobra.
GT40p heads are off of mid-late 90s Explorers.

GT40ps have smaller comustion chambers, smaller exhaust valves and have a different spark plug location. The GT40ps are where you will have header fitment problems.
