Replacing Rear Main Seal


I finally got me a 5.0. It's a 1989. I am by no means a mechanic. I only have a few mods on this including a K&N MAF filter and that's about it....Since I am getting the rear main seal replaced (and I am guessing that they will have to either remove the engine or tranny)....since one of these will be out...is there any modification that I should go ahead and do.....Any advice would be helpful.

auto or manual trans?

I would do a performance clutch and light weight flywheel

im a fan of clutchmasters and ACT for clutches and the flywheel would have to say fidanza for the price.
