motor mountsin my 89 gt whenever i pull of i have to kinda rev it up highier than usual so that it wont vibrate and i can feel the car vibrate whenever it is in low gear, at around 1200 rpm in any gear |

Pop the hood, set the e-brake and put the car in gear. Give it a bit of gas (not enough to spin the tires, just enough to put a little torque on the motor) Do this in 1st and reverse. If the motor raises up on either side that mount would be bad. It will only move a bit if theyre good but will lift if one is broken.

exactly. but have someone stand in front of the car and watch the motor to see wich one(s) are giving. kinda hard to see when your in the car...

Replace them. Those stress cracks are where the rubber will pull apart.

done deal went with some energysus. poly ones, love them. after putting them in i could feel a skip in my car, and led me to find some spark plug problems.

how do u replace them, i read that u have to disconnect the trans from the engine is that true, well what do u do

No you don't have to remove the trans. to replace them.
Loosen them some and Jack the enigne up and then remove and replace the mounts. I loosen the nut first then jack up. Once up enough then I remove the 2 screws on the ends and slide it out.
