LOUD MUSTANG?!

Hey my mustang was extremely loud when I got it, (i loved it) i have mac headers, cats, and flowmasters coming off of it... then the exhaust was just hanging in the middle of the car... I just recently got the proper tail pipes welded on and it made all the loud noise go away. I am taking off the cats and putting the off road H PIPE on. will my mustang be loud again with the h-pipe?

Tail pipes will reduce the noise level of your exhaust alot. If you have cats and you swap them out for an off-road hpipe, then the exhaust note will go up alot. the loudest exhaust comes from off road pipes, and open mufflers(no tail pipes or dumps), dumped tips quiet it a bit.

what size tail pipe did you put? 2.5, 3, 3.5 tip?

an off road H will give you a sweet sound.

You could have the best of both worlds. Loudness of dumps with retaining the factory tailpipes. How, you ask? My Custom Dumps

The warlock muffler has a bypass tube inside that bypasses the muffler all together. It sounds like straight pipes on a stang and not my taste at all. My dumps mod places a hole in the rear channel of the flowmaster where the dimple is from the factory. The exhaust still comes through the muffler to give the flowmaster sound but is incredibly deep sounding. If your looking for abnoxiously loud crappy sound then by all means get the warlocks or just delete your mufflers. I have had so many comments regarding the deep aggressive bassy tone that comes out that I have lost count. Warlocks act more like a cut-out on an Fbody than a dump. These are two totally different design setups.
