i recently put u/d pullies on my car and took the smog pump completely off but i left the pipe that runs from the smog pump to the cats on the car but i have a o/r h pipe so there are no cats and the car idles real rough...any ideas or suggestions

since you have no smog pump you should ditch the pipe that used to go to it and cap the inlet on the h-pipe. are you saying the rough idle started after you put the pulleys on and deleted the smog pump? what did you do with the vacuum lines that went to the smog valves? did you cap the crossover-tube that hooks to the back of the cyl heads? what are your volts sitting at?

if you did everything right and if you have adequate charging, those "mods" shouldn't cause any idle troubles. my suggeston: Check for Codes

yes it started after these mods and i didnt do anything with the vacuum lines...but some of them that were runnin to a check valve were very brittle and broke

plug the vacuum lines running to the solenoids ("check valves")...not the ones coming from the solenoids (the ones you're refering to) but the ones going into them.
