engine question
i am looking at an 88 5.0 engine.. however i thin kthe dude is trying to pull one off here... does an 88 have the cut out for the fuel pump on the block that a carbed engine would have. I know an 86 and up are EFI just woundering about the cut out on the block

It's there its just blocked off during the casting. It should look like its there but be blocked off about 1.5 inches down the throat of the opening.

o.k... didn't look that far down the hole.. But i quess if it wasn;t blocked it would prob piss oil all over the place.... thanks for makeing the head think on a thursday evening
