Trick Flow Track heat valve springs?

What does it take to get these on a pair of iron GT40 heads??? I hear there is some cutting involved, and i would also have to get the Trick Flow locks and retainers as well...

Is it true that you have to modify the head some to get them on there? Typical cost of that if anybody knows?

For what it's worth, GT40 heads, FMS B303 cam, and Crane 1.7 RR's, and i want plenty spring to hold.

If the heads don't have a spring pocket big enough to accept them you will need to have the spring pockets cut. Get valve springs to match your cam. The B cam doesn't need much for a spring.

So are the stock GT40 springs alright? That is what is on the heads and they are new as the heads are fresh out of the shop with a valve job, and all that jive.
I think with the 1.7s i will have like a .510 or .514 lift...does that sound right Darrell?
