no such thing as overkill, as long as the return line can flow well enough to return all excess fuel...and the stock return line is fine for a 255lph. also, the BBK and most other brands are just repackaged Walbro pumps so don't get hung up on brand name just buy the cheapest one you can find. my2cents

You got other plans than spray? Wet or dry? Stock lines are marginal at 190lph and 255 is useless with stock rails. If you go with the 255 I would get the lines too. Here's why. When you are sitting there idling or cruising around, you are sending what 200+lph back thru the stock lines. Sure they will flow it. Not quite well though. Ever here of friction. That is what is caused when you try to force a lot of fuel thru a little line. Friction causes heat. Heat not only heats up the fuel but also heats up the pump. Between the heat and the fact that the pressure rises when the 255 lph hits the regulator and tries to go back thru the stock lines you are over working the pump. If all you are going to do is spray (up to 150 shot), the 190 will be fine and the fuel lines will work as well as the rails. Its not that the rails won't support it but the fact that they won't flow enough to need a 255lph pump. If later on down the road you do something else that needs more fuel like a supercharger or turbo, you can go with a boost-a-pump or separate fuel pump. If you are going with a wet system you should run a separate fuel system for it anyways. Some guy named Lidio Iacobelli said that a 190 with 36 lb injectors will support 500 hp with stock fuel lines. There are gadgets to raise voltage to the pump when you are at the track and vice-versa there are gadgets to lower voltage when not at the track.
