If its on the engine side you want it to pull the cool air from outside the car thru the radiator, not push the hot air from inside the eng compartment thru the radiator fighting the incoming air form the car moving forward. Like 86er said it will work better.

I have never seen a pusher on a fox. Pusher aren't recommended for primary cooling. They are usually used for secondary cooling. A pusher fan is about 20-30 percent less affective, and thats when it is mounted in the right place. When you put a fan in front of the rad it is actually impeding some air flow when it is not on. A fan behind the rad is not in the way of air flow going thru the rad. Your car when going down the road is automatically sucking air in the rad. If you have a pusher on the back of the rad pushing air forward, it is pushing against that air. Google pusher fan vs puller fan. The whole purpose of the rad is to cool the water. The coolest air is outside the car.
