some options that come to mind are, delete egr/smog, a/c, battery relocation, washer relocation

ya i should have metioned that first. the battery is already in the trunk and the smog pump is gone. i plan on going with a manual steering rack in the near future.

relocate the wiring behind the inner fenders. It's not that hard to do and really cleans up the underhood area.

get rid of your egr valve and tube. put a blockoff plate on your intake where your valve mounted and then cap off your header bung with a steel threaded cap and that will get rid of your tube.

thats odd because when i unpluged the egr, the light came on almost instantly. i may just block it off but leave it plugged in. unless anyone has any better ideas?

get rid of your smog pump, if you havent already. disconnect your negative battery cable for 20 minutes and then reconnect it. that should take care of your check engine light
