Swaping 2.73s for 4.10s in the drag car, ET difference?

Ok I spent this winter building a drag car, just a gutted 88gt and a well built 302. The car has a 3000 stall and 2.73 gears and has a best time of 8.78 on the 1/8th mile. Can anyone tell me what kind of improvments my new 4.10's will give me as far as ET? I am putting them in tomorrow and racing saturday and I sure am anxious to see the result! Thanks everyone!

you will lose almost about a sec off your 1/4mile time (thats if you get traction)

In the 1/8 I'll say you'll shave off .35 seconds

If its a daily driver I would not go more then 4.10's with it. Even that may be too much.

4.10s have very short first 18mph i think not bad tho u would need to know more the car so that way u wouldnt over rev.. if ur have no confidence get 3.73s..

my friends have 4.10 i drove the car and I got to know the car so i didnt over rev much or anything.. took e like 3 minutes to get to it (my friends has a 03 sixer)

I have the same issue. I have 2.73's in my car as well and I'm tryin to see which route would be best traveled - 3.73s or 4.10s?
