Video of my first run at the dragstrip!!
Its nothing special and I still had the stock 2.73 gears in it, but hey its still fun to watch mustangs race!!! I ran a 8.78 on the 8th and left the other guy sitting with my .03 light. LOL! Im the closer car, and it may look yellow but it is actually pink and black(let the jokes fly). I will post another video this weekend after i run w my new 4.10 gears this saturday.

Its should be around 13.65, I should break into the 12s w the new gears. Ill post my times saturday night or sunday morning.

Do you really think gears will shave that much off your time? I'm not one to hate, so don't take this the wrong way, I personally don't think it will do THAT much, but I guess that all depends on where your motor makes power. I would love to see the vid when you get the gears just to see the difference

I agree with fogged306. I don't think your going to shave that much off your ET just from gears. To touch a 12 your going to for sure need a H/C/I setup or a power adder on a stock top end motor. The gears might get ya .2 or so but I doubt any more than that.

What am I the only one thats going to joke about his car's color. Gees!! Anyways, I am not a hater, I think you just might hit the 12's with gears. Not just because of the gears, but because this was the first time you took this car to the track. You will know it better next time, and inadvertently drive it faster anyways. 5.10's?? You will have to shift gears as soon as you pop the clutch! A stock mustang has all its power down low, and you'll be screaming thru your powerband too fast, spinning your tires, and then nothing. Just my 2 cents. But hey if you can get the traction
