header install


if i were to install LTs on my auto 5.0 will i need to lift the enigine a bit?

but i dont have an engine lift? how else could you do it?

put a jack under it, unbolt or loosen the motor from the mounts and jack it up...You also probably have the headers with the steering shaft goes through the middle, have fun if you have any rust there!

We had to push and pull on the motor to get them in too.

i havent gotten any of them yet but isnt mac the only ones that make them that will fit an auto?

BBK's will clear an auto as well and are better quality.

You got BBK's on an automatic?? BBK claims you can get them on with a little extra effort and some slight modification. Thats why they advertise them as not fitting automatics because they don't consider them direct bolt ons. Not that they can't be made to fit.

It tool a little massaging to make them work, but yes.

I got the Mac's. There are higher dollar ones that will fit with the aod but just stick with the Mac's...they will be all you will need.

maybe you should get lt1 headers, they fit with some grindage.

well i definatly want LTs more hp cant go wrong there. but i just remembered in the past my car has been lowered 2 inches, will i have ground clearance problems with LTs?
