smog pump delete

i am getting rid of my smog pump but how can i plug the the holes in the cylinder head.
also what brand of spark plug runs the best in a stock 5.0

If you have the heads off and have access to the back put some NPT plugs in to fill those holes where the smog pipe went. If you dont have access to the back then cut the tube and crimp it off to plug it. For plugs I would just run some standard NGK or Autolite plugs. Something without platinum.

Ya i just cut it with bolt cutters and pinched it shut. Works great! I also caped the vacuum lines.

or cut the pipe and flip over the flanges. on the pollution pump u can take it apart and remove the vanes, then its just a free spining bearing.(if your on a budget)
