Back when I was 16 I took my car (this was before I owned a mustang) to a "lube place". They put the oil plug on with an impact wrench... Needless to say I had to put a new oil pan on the car. They refused to fix it.

Since we are all telling horror stories about "lube" places, I took my car to get the oil changed one time and they had put the wrong size filter on the car. It drove home just fine but when I went to start it again, it popped the filter off like a rocket and dumped oil all over my driveway.. I was only 17 or 18 at the time so i didn't know shit so I just kitty littered the oil, screwed the filter back on cause I thought they didn't put it on all the way, added more oil and started it again.. like an idiot. Needless to say the same damn thing happened again, just in a different spot in the driveway, haha.

I guess the moral of the story(s) is exactly what stangzilla said, CHANGE YOUR OWN OIL!!! you cant trust these afterschool special idiots to do anything right so you have to do it yourself
