well ya know now a days they have the already 50/50 mixed for you in the bottle so i would just do that and you fill it till its to the top keep the cap off and start your car and run it for a while... the antifreeze level will go down because its getting run through the motor start porring more in until it fills to the top.... repeat this cycle till its full and make sure your car doesnt overheat in the process

buying the 50/50 mix is a waste.. your paying for half water when you could mix it yourself but anyways you have to fill the radiator up. Keep cap off and leave the car idle until it gets to operating temp which is what your thermostat is (180) then the thermostat will open to let coolant through the engine block to cool it. When this occurs the radiator fluid level will drop a bunch. Proceed to fill the radiator once it drops then top it off and put the cap back on.

Later on that night take the cap off and leave it off as you sleep in your bed the air pockets will work themselves out so in the morning you can put the cap back on and hopefully have no problems.

also, while you're letting the engine idle to get to operating temperature with the cap off, put the front end on jackstands or bricks or whatever, and that will make the radiator the highest point in the cooling system so all the air will dissipate much faster.

there will still be tiny pockets of air. that's why you raise the front end.
