Newb here with some questions!
Hello Ladies and Gents, I'm a first time mustang owner just bought a 95 GT Convertible, and had some questions about where to get started and where to look (yes, I'm a huge fan of the search button, I know that one already.) However there are some things I can't seem to find:
1. Place to get replacement interior pieces other than WTB threads. (including seat replacements and motors for seats, dash, door pieces etc.) 2. Appearence mods for the 95 GT convert (body kits, top upgrades, lighting mods that are hidden in forums and archives that may be usefull etc) 3. Handling and brake upgrades that are recommended 4. Basic performance upgrades (we'll start there and talk about boost later.) Sorry if this is a no-no, or there's a search that I should be performing that I don't know about, again, first time stang owner, but proud of owning a 5.0. Can't wait to hear the responses! Thanks! Dave. |

Welcome to moddedmustangs.....5.0 Resto and latemodel restorations should have most of the trim pieces you are looking for. For the handling, brake and performance upgrades, what is the intended usage of the car?? daily driver, street/strip, or street/autocross??????

Well, more of a weekend driver, but I do want to up the horsepower and torque, starting slow but steady. CAI, suspension, lowering, TPS adujustments. Again starting basics first, then on to the bigger stuff as time goes on. I'm looking into body kits and esthetic upgrades as well, but I'd rather do performance first. also are there websites for 5.0 resto and latemodel 5.0 interior parts? Thanks!
Dave.

Yep, called, I was looking for 95 convertible door panels. They don't carry them. Anyone else got any ideas? I'd really like to replace mine!
