moping up the cooling system

so i have a leak in my radiatior somewhere. i noticed it dripping and upon further inspection i saw there was a puddle in the electric fan shroud...so beacuse its in the shroud im thinking that its from the sctual radiatior and not the hoses or anything....is there a way to patch the radiatior or is it time to go with an aftermarket radiatior?

+1 You can repair them, maybe even stop leak additives, but the additives tend to cause more problems down the road. I would do like Jason said and get you a good aftermarket rad with a lifetime warranty.

You can get a new generic 3 core radiator (most 5.0 Mustangs came with a 2 core) from many on line parts places for about $100-150 shipped. The quality is similar to the factory model and a good deal for the price. Shipping to HI will obviously be a little more. You could go the brand name route or for a performance radiator but if your factory 2 core worked fine, a generic replacement 2 or 3 core will work fine as well. To each his own.
Replacing the radiator is easy and straight forward.
