Drag

Now with 4.10's, cold air, 3'' flowmaster h pipe, crane rollers, short throw shifter, throttle body (70mm), and headers.......is it worth bringing this thing to a drag race , how well would i compete?

Even if it was stock I think it'll be worth taking it to the track. That way you can learn how to launch and measure the progress with each mod added.

Speed is irrelevant on the track. Weather you run 12's or make 30 second passes, as long as it is consistant and you can cut a light, that is all that matters. If you have 4.10s, i hope you have some slicks you can put on there. If the car spins, it will need to spin the exact same every single time to be consistant. My car runs within 2-3 hundredths of a second every single pass. I race every other weekend and my neighbor has been racing for 15 years. He has a 88LX that he built as a drag car and hasnt added any mods in 12 years. He frequently wins king of the track at both local tracks and has won the world ford challenge once and runner up once. The key is a car that will do the same thing every time and a driver that can as well. Either way, take the car out to the track and see what its made of and let us know what kind of times it runs and how consistant it is. MUSTANGS RULE!

slow cars are still fun at the track, thats the key word, fun. You should run deep in the 13's
