Mass Air, which one to go with?

I've been looking and trying to decide which one I need to buy. Converting from speed density and trying to prep the car for turbo. I've seen the Lightning's, C&L, Pro-M, etc. Not sure of other brands.

I'll be using a T-67 turbo and probably 42lb injectors, and will eventually be running a 351 motor. Wanna get the right meter and do it once. Not buy one and upgrade again later. Insight appreciated. Thanks.

I would for sure stay away from C & L. Some people get lucky but it seems for the most part they are very difficult to tune. Pro-M is actually no longer in buisness. They are now Professional mass air systems (PMAS). I have heard that their meters are very good and accurate. I would probably give them a call and tell them your seutp and see what they think. They will be able to help you out.

what type of setup are you gonna use blowthru or drawthru MAF?if you wanna use a blowthru use a Pro m Univer meter.I have a C&L 76mm on my (NA)car and never had a problem ,I am also doing a turbo setup on my car and with a C&L all you need to do is change calibration tubes when you change injectors instead of sending your meter back to PMAS to get recalibrated for different injectors.Go checkout turbomustangs.com and see what they say. They know their stuff about turbo.

C&Ls have a bad rep because people buy 76mm or 80mm and put them on a stock engine. you want to keep your engines CFM, and your MAFs CFM fairly close. there are 4 main factors in a working MAF meter. sample tube size, meter size, sensor calibration, and maf transfer funcrtion table in the eeciv. the most accurate meters are the ones that are flow tested, and imputting that info into the table in the eeciv, with some sort of engine management, PMS, tweecer, exct...

I've heard that C&L's aren't very accurate when it comes to tuning the car with a computer.. some work well but a lot of them give sporadic readings making it tough to tune the car. I've heard nothing but good about the PMAS though.

This info isn't personal experience its just what I've heard tuners say ALOT... most of these are TwEECer tuners though...
