You should notice a considerable difference with all that. Maybe a tune will wake it up?

Do you drive supercars all day long? That's not a bad set-up... Maybe you just need a tune?

how fancy are tunes on these old 5.0's, is it more than uping my fuel pressure and advancing the dizzy a bit for 91 octane?

So I'm looking over your mod list, and I noticed you have 19# injectors.. I'm no expert on 5.0s, but that sounds a little weak for your mods.. maybe thats why your not feeling anything?

Nah, those 19# injectors are fine for what he's got.. I would get some type of piggyback computer or at the least have a chip burned for the car. If you don't plan on doing more mods to the car then the chip will save you money. If you are going to do other things to the car, a computer will save you in the long run because you wont have to reflash or buy a new chip everytime you change something.... even with out a chip or computer you should feel at least a little difference. I think something isn't right... timing, bad sensor somewhere causing the computer to run in limp mode, vac leak.

did the car seem abnormally slow before the mods? maybe there is something wrong with the car.

forget about changing the fuel pressure you just need to advance your timing to about 16*...or more. i run 18* advanced. also, keep in mind that all of those mods (except the gears) add upper RPM HP not low-end power. in the upper RPMs its harder to feel performance gains. get it to the track.

edit: what about the puny 55mm MAF meter? you don't still have the stocker on there do you? how are the breathing mods going to help if you're sucking through a straw???

fogged306 is right i was told by a mustang performance shop that #19 injectors are good for 290rwhp-300rwhp with a bigger fuel pump like i did.

maybe at 100% duty cycle...but even then i don't think so. 250 RWHP is about as much as i'd try with 19lbers.

these formulas are for flywheel HP:

i think my fuel pressure is good, stock is 39psi and i uped it to 43psi like i've read.

i know i still have to play with my timing, today was just the first quick test drive after getting it running.

yeah still stock maf. i researched these mods before buying them and nobody said go bigger with the maf. (hey i cleaned it...haha)

i'm not saying i would still run these #19's if i was up next to 290rwhp, that's just what the shop told me. either way i'm not up there yet, actually i don't have any idea where my rwhp is, but it's not up to 250rwhp.

yep i agree. might want to get a larger MAF and you should definitely check your codes. the EEC can take alot of power from you when things aren't working right.

definitely get a bigger MAF. you are doing exactly what TENGRAM says and bottlenecking the entire upgraded air flow you just put on there. Just make sure it is calibrated for 19# injectors... or you can do a cobra 70mm.

oops.... too late

Dude, I would gain hp on my car (2.3L) by upgrading to 24lb injectors. I just assumed 19 would be a bit small for you.

Bro its a mustang, of course its gonna be slow. The only way to make it "fast" is go F/I, or get a Cobra and drop 2 G's into it.
