Sensors and Injectors help

I am reposting this question from the projects section hoping I get a faster reply.

We're installing a fordstrokers.com long block tonight and its been so long since the tear down plus I sold the original motor and didnt save anything from it I cant remember what I need. I need some help and I know these may be stupid questions for 5.0 purists but I am not...yet.

01. We bought a new set of injectors, should they have come with clips to hold them in?
2. I know I should use all new sensors but where can I find a list so I can just buy them all and not miss anything?
3. The headers are very close to the starter and bellhousing and I am worried about heat. Is this normal for headers to get that close?

Appreciate any help.
Thanks,

Well I've answered 1 question I dont need the clips. DAH but now I have another.

We arent running cats on this car and have done a smog pump delete so can I do away with buying the TAD and TAB sensors and what do I do about O2 sensors since I have headers now?

You should be able to do away with the tab and tad sensors.

Your headers should have a spot for the o2 sensors, if not youll have to weld a bung into heach side of your h-pipe as close to the headers as you can.

I believe latemodel resto sells a kit with most of the sensors you need.

How much ?

My plan was to do the dyno tune first, then smog..... i figured if it was dialed in, then id have a better chance at passing smog. But the time frame im looking at is going to make me late with my registration.

But if you can hook it up, and if it doesnt cost me an arm nd a leg....... lets do this bro
Ill let you know when i get my car back, im sure i wont have it for another week or so

Sorry 89stroker, i didnt mean to jack your thread.

We drove all the way down to Late Model this afternoon and we've been there before but these guys kick ass. Bought the kit linked above and a bunch of other sensors and valves. Over $600 in parts and with the site discount dropped the bill almost $70.00. All ford racing parts or National Auto and was cheaper that Autozone or Oriellys and better parts. 3.5 hour round trip and was worth it.

Side note
I didnt want to take the F250 or my Roush the 200 mile round trip so I stole my 17YO daughters new 2012 V6 and at 84 MPH I was averaging 29mpg. Almost felt like I was helping the enviorment there.
