Problem

I just bought a coupe with a supercharger. The car runs fine under normal driving. But when you try to get in to it the car misses. I am running 8 psi. The timing is set a 10 degrees. It has 19lb injectors with a paxton fmu, no adjustable regulator, NGK plugs (didn't check the gap), stock ignition ( in the process of buy an aftermarket), and is still a speed density car (anyone have a mass air conversion?). Anyways I know I still needs to upgrade some things but what would you guys think or what do you think I should do? Thanks

I wouldn't say they are way too small, but they are certainly at the end of they usefulness. The FMU will extend their usefulness, but as far as the missing goes...I'd say check the gap first. With 8psi, shouldn't be missing. What is the static compression? Stock 9:1? If you want an MSD 6AL, I have one that I'd let go for $100. You are most likely pegging the speed density sensor, although I will admit I am not so clear on how it works. I also have a spair stock MAF for a set of 19# injectors.

I won't say it is the injectors because I ran 9# on a stock motor without the slightest problem with nearly the same setup (i had a MAF).

All in all, I'd say check gap, if that doesn't clear it up, check your fuel system has a new filter and the pump is working correctly.
