Need help wont start!

i have an 87 5.0 and whenever i turn the key the dash lights up and i can hear the fuel pump but when i turn the key completely all i get is a loud click. thanks for any help u guys can give me.

soundslike the starter relay/solenoid by your drivers side fender.

i replaced the selenoid and still the same thing

then make sure u got power to the starter- u can jump it at the solenoid, then replace the starter

If it clicks then the solenoid is working. Check your cable going to your starter to make sure it hasn't rubbed thru on a header or something, if not check where the cable is connected to the solenoid and check the ground cable to the block. If all else fails check your starter.
