Bad running...

I replaced my O2 sensors yesterday. It made a tremendous difference. I then proceeded to wash my car, but left the key turned on when I rolled my windows up. My battery was drained. I popped the clutch to get it cranked, and after I drove it about a mile it started running awful. It would idle fine, but when I pressed the gas, it would barely go. I got under the hood, and it seemed to backfire, and sound flooded when I pressed the gas. What's my problem?

either your spark is extremely low or there isnt enough gas to support the power

If it is the problem that you don't have great spark....

Do you have any mods on your car that would lower your voltage? Heavy electronics, underdrive pulleys, electric fan, old alternator could cause you to have lower voltage output which is a problem now that the battery is dead.

did you drive it for a little bit?... I don't know about these computers on mustangs but a lot of newer cars need to "relearn" how the car operates, sensor readings and so forth. sometimes you have to drive it around for a little bit to get it back to normal after a power loss.
