EFI 351 Questions?

I recently got a 83 GT. It has a 351W in it. Hot hard would it be to go EFI in this car, with this engine?

Also what would be a decent, inexpensive set of heads for this engine.

its not hard most of the stock 86-95 EFI components will work with it. If your looking to save some money the best thing would be to buy a set of used heads.

Go with stuff from a car that has a Mass setup though. Not speed density like my 88.

I will most likely use a Painless Harness, MAF for sure. Will the upper intake from a 5.0 HO work with my 351 Lower intake? If not will the upper from my truck intake fit in the mustang without clearance trouble?

Also would the GT40 heads be better than the stock heads for a 1990 F250 5.8 heads? would they even fit?

GT40s flow better, but I believe there's more room to port with the 351 heads.

You do know the painless harness is for use with a stand alone computer system.I was going to use it to convert my 87 to mass air until i called them and they told me that.I ended up going with a ford racing harness instead, but it was also 700 bucks if i was you i would find one out of an 89 or up 5.0 that would be alot cheaper

That was my original plan but it is almos impossible to find a 89+ v8 mustang around this area. At least in in a junk yard. Would the harness out of something besides a mustang work?
