I am doing a complete rebuild with it I stripped it and sold or gave away all of the parts. I allready fixed up the body got rid of all the rust and everything but I do not know much about Mustang engines. I was a JDM fiend, but the fox body mustangs caught my eye and now I am into these. I just need to know a good engine and tranny for the mustang basically.

If I was you i would buy a 347 stroker shortblock, put a good set of aluminum heads on it,custom grind cam, roller rockers, thats just a few things. if your wanting a manual trans a tremec tko is a good choice,if not a well built C4 will do great.

I would buy a 347 with a 5.315 rod instead of 5.4.Recently I just bought a coast high performance 347 and its very nice.

Depends on your budget.

I would go with a good stroker, probably the 347 is most common. A good T-56 is also nice.

You could always do what my buddy donnie did and put in a RB26DETT. J/K He got the idea from tokyo drift. Damn car will run though, its faster than my 460.
