Hello everyone,
Well i'm taking my 90 5.0 AOD in next week to have the 3.73's and shift kit installed. should i notice a big difference or is it more subtle than i'm expecting? |

From stock gears, you should notice a difference. As far as the shift kit, the transgo has three different settings. I wouldn't go to the race setting unless it is a track only car. I would also highly recommend an external trans cooler. The shift kits cause the fluid to get pretty warm. If not, it will probably be slipping soon. Good luck with it.

Yeah i'm going to look into a tranny cooler today probably. The shift kit is a B&M kit with 2 settings to choose from. one is for RV/towing, and the other is street/strip. i've never driven a car with a shift kit in it, so i don't know what to expect. i just know its supposed to tighten up the shifts some.
