Someone mind helping me find a good 5.0? :D
Sorry if is the wrong section, not allowed to post in the "WTB" Section
Well for those of you who seen me a few months prior, today I have $2500 to spend on my very first car, which I choose to be a 87-93 mustang! So I'm hoping someone can help me find a decent one (it doesn't have to be quality, get me from A-B.) I can save money to upgrade and make it quality later on ![]() I have my heart set on a mustang and don't really want anything else haha.. I'm located in Bay area, California. I'm looking for an 87-93 mustang GT or LX (No coupe or drop-top please!) that is an automatic with minor to no mechanical problems. If you are local to me or know where I can find one (Looked on craigslist already, got a couple in mind) but still would like to see more! Greatly appreciated, thanks! |

Hey man - nice choice as a fox for your first car. Honestly half the fun is finding the car yourself. The best advice I can give you is to read this thread http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...x-mustang.html but I wouldn't reccomend hanging around that forum over this one though.

Thanks, I'll definitely take a look at that ![]() It may be fun, It's actually becoming stressful as I can't find one in my budget that suits my needs, or isn't a extreme clunker :L |

MGYH Good choice in first car! Craigslist shopping 3x a day in would be a good idea. You will have to search not just the SF Bay section but SoCal too. BTW notch/coupes are sweet but nice ones are always high dollar...As for GT or LX...LX IMO. Good luck in your search!

I found mine in a thrifty nickel mag or one of those auto trader books you get for free at the gas station. Mine was right under my nose the whole time, probably ten minutes from my house lol. I had very specific criteria for mine, it had to be a gt, black on black, low miles, 5 speed. Found it advertised for 5500. I offered the guy 4,000 he declined so i offered 4500 and he took it.
