OVERHEATING


my car keeps on losing coolant and i dont know how...i checked the oil for the head gasket....i changed the thermostat....i puta new radiator cap on....i dont know what else to look for....any other sugestions??
i have a 90 5.0 lx

use a coolant pressure tester to find where its leaking from.did you see any fog on the inside of the windshield.heater core.intake gaskets,hoses
casting plugs.

No doubt i'd be checking the heater core... check the A/C drain for signs of coolant, and feel the floor underneath your glovebox... see if it's damp.

I checked the floors and nothing there...i figured out it is going on the ground but i dont know how....i think it is getting hot enough where it is overflowing in my overflow....waht else do u think i would check??

Fill the radiator, drive around til it gets warm, pop the hood and look at all your hoses and rad for pin holes. Then shut the car off and wait for a couple minutes to see if anything comes out of the weep hole on the water pump or out the overflow.
