Hey I thought the 79-81 had c 4's? How many transmissions were offered in 81?

pretty sure 79 was the only year that had the c4. in 81 you could only get an AOD or the SROD 4-speed.

What trans did I remove from my 90 LX with a 4 cyl? It looks like an AOD, but no way it's the same as the 5.0 trans.

I don't know how accurate that is, but I also looked up the transmission selections by year at www.car-parts.com. Of course don't know how accurate that is either. That is an online Junk Yard part finder. [/url]
