Yeah I would believe so.. they claim the brand is DRP but I searched Google for that brand with null results.. I mean come on.. it will cost the Aussies more than $400 just to manufacture a decent set of aluminum heads!!

I dont know why people keep posting about these heads. All you guys know you get what you pay for. I herd the castings are decent with a little porting but if you want them to be good heads you have to assemble them yourself with good componets. By the time you are done you will have spent almost enough to buy a real set of heads...

I dont think that buying a set of valves & springs with a little porting job would add $1000 to their original price, it would still be cheap. Besides, they claim 280cfm intake flow just outa the box, so why port them? The question is about quality & durability, first of all. And definitly, those flow numbers are outrageous.

valves, springs, locks, retainers, seals, shims and valve job. Can the average enthusiast do the work? He may be able to assemble them but certainly not a valve job. A good valve job done on a serdi, not an old stone machine.

Not long ago on this forum there was already a heated discussion about those same heads with pictures shown that revealed some serious casting/production issues. If those are indeed the same heads. I'd stick with known heads but if you do opt for them then I wish you good luck, nonethless.

That's right.. I know there was a previous thread about knock-off heads imported from China but I only posted this one in particular because the seller mentioned they are "made in Australia NOT China".. I was doubting this statement only, not questioning the quality or performance as the case in the previous threads.

The only accredited Australian cylinder head maker that I know is RHS (Racing Heads Services), and they are really good. but DRP?!

Dynamic Racing Products (DRP) simply markets pro-comp heads under their own name. DRP heads are pro-comp heads assembled by DRP.

The flow numbers are decent on these heads, but only after a valve job and some casting cleanup. If you really trust a company, you will trust that they are only selling castings that passed their inspections and that they assembled them with quality components and a decent valve job.

So you have to ask yourself how much you trust a budget ebay company.
The test for me is usually to email or call the place expressing your concerns about the products. If the company is worth their salt, you will get a timely and professional response concerning the issue that answers all of your questions. I will say this much, don't expect much in the way of customer service from most of these companies.
