Need to know timing?
Hey guys. Thanks for everyones help before, but it comes time for another question. I have an 89 mustang with GT-40 heads and intake. Just had MSD
distributor put in with new plugs and wires. Can anyone tell me what would be the best timing for this situation? |

I would say 14* base is pretty fair.

Question what is the purpose of the grey plug, I've heard some say that when you plug it back in after setting ur timing it also advances another 2 degrees.

Thats the spout connector. You unplug it to set base then plug it in and it controls the timing advance.

You'll need 91+ octane to run 14*
