95 GT not getting any spark.... please help

I have a 95 GT stock, I gave it a tune up,(cap/rotor, plugs, wires) it ran for about 3 weeks to a month, now it won't start. I was told the coil was bad, replaced it also replace the ignition module, still no spark. The battery is new. A mechanic friend of mine checked for codes with the scanner but no fault codes in the ECM. He says it could be the oil pressure sensor that's causing the ignition to shut down. That didn't sound right to me, so I'll ask...Would a bad oil pressure sensor do that? If not, what else should I be looking into? Thanks in advance.

Check the pick up coil in the distributor. Also check to make sure the rotor moves when you turn the engine over.

Darrell, thanks for the reply. The rotor spins when trying to start the engine. Is the pick up coil inside or under the distributor base?

The pick up coil is under the rotor. If you have no spark at the coil you need to work your way backwards. Check for power to the coil, if there is no power there keeping taking a step back until you find out where the power is being lost.

Darrell, thanks. What would be the next thing to check after the coil? Does this site have a diagram/layout of a 5.0 motor and electrical system? If not, what site does? Thanks in advance

I'm not sure if there is a diagram here but you should be able to find one at a local parts store in a Haynes manual.
